I have a data projector 800 x 600 resolution which is ideal for my requirements. However I wish to buy a new laptop to run with it and all I have seen are 1024 x 768 - XGA.
My understanding is that it's best to have the projector and laptop the same native resolution, so I was wondering if someone could please advise a source for an SVGA display laptop. |

The secondary output is not tied to resolution of the main screen, You can set the video/TV out to whatever ever suits, having said that, my projector looks better when its fed a signal at 1024x768, which it redraws down to 800x600.... |

Just change the screen resolution to 800 x 600 when you are using the projector. You definitely don't want to be using a screen with anything less than 1024 x 768 for general use. :) |
