| 412943 | 2005-12-15 07:55:00 | I have just started playing BF2 online and have discovered that maxnet severely lags with 300+ ping and was wondering if upgrading the download speed from 256kb/s to 2Mb/s would improve my ping by much or if i need a faster upload speed than 128kb/s. Also i was wondering if it is even possible to get cheapish internet with uploads of more than 128 as i have been unable to find any. Thanks |

Unless you get Telstra Cable or get Wired Country (etc ), youre stuck with 128kb/s :( (I am unsure what wireless intranet is like in the way of playing games on) |

| 412946 | 2005-12-15 12:06:00 | I have heard that there are some wireless ISPs that are really good for gaming, but Woosh is NOT one of them. Make sure you get a decent cap or free national traffic - bf2 will chew through 10 gig in no time. | Greven (91) | ||
