413828 2005-12-19 00:32:00 Hi,

recently when installing some programmes a window pops up with;

Internal error; Failed to expand shell folder constant "userfavorites".
Click Retry, Ignore, or Abort.

Some load ok if I click Ignore but a programme like XP Tools would
not load at all.

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

413829 2005-12-19 01:57:00 I'm guessing that userfavorites is referring to the Internet Explorer's favorites folders, perhaps through the use of an environment variable.

Did you install the "Document and Settings" folder to it's default location? You should see a "Favorites" folder under your login name.
