| 414019 | 2005-12-20 01:21:00 | My iPod has suddenly decided to be an unknown device in windows (XP pro). I did the usual google for the problem when it occured to me to try my wifes' iPod and that is comming up as an unknown device too, so now I blame windows. These are iPod minis (2nd gen 2005) I'm using Windows XP pro My ports are standard USB2 any ideas? |

It would probably work with an Apple Macintosh. :D Have a look for any remnants of it in the Registry, to make sure the removing has been thorough. There are programmes around which will do this. |
