| 413917 | 2005-12-19 09:02:00 | i was given this HP deskjet 840c printer by a friend, it apparently worked, i plugged it in via usb and xp recognised it, i went to print a test page i ran into a prob. text prints fine but the windows logo doesnt exsist on the test page, although the word windows does. i brought a new color cartiridge, and tried again no luck, and it doesnt print color either which is unusual, any ideas? | aidanmaz (7180) | ||

| 413921 | 2005-12-20 22:04:00 | Presume you have gone to welcome.hp.com entered deskjet 840c and had a good rat through the troubleshooting plus installation info. Suggest delete all HP items, then instal software followed by plugging in printer. |
