| 413549 | 2005-12-17 20:58:00 | I am trying to find a PCI 16MB+ graphics card for my next door neighbour. He recently bought Tiger Woods 2005 for his 70th birthday but it complains he doesn't have enough graphics memory (he has 8MB integrated, the game wants 16MB). He only has one spare PCI slot (the other is filled with 56k modem for his dialup). His computer (although P2 based) meets specs in every other way (I actually thought the game would complain about CPU clockspeed but theres a screen within the game that shows what hardware passes and what fails - the CPU passes, the graphics only fail). In every other way the computer meets his everyday needs so upgrade is out of the question. I can pick up in person in Taranaki (north) or I will be in Western B.O.P for a few days over Xmas. Other than that it will need to be arranged via direct credit and post. I have looked on TradeMe (anything on there is either damaged, or way overpriced). I have also placed an ad on Trade F1, waiting for practical responses PM me if you can help please Thank you (moderators: I realise this may contravene rules, but it is a last ditch effort) |
