414205 2005-12-20 08:43:00 My friend bought (2nd hand) this HP TC1100 Tablet PC - it works fine and looks impressive. All hardware works fine except the 'PEN' is not functioning. Checked Device Manager and found that: there are yellow exclaimation marks infront of 'other devices:- 1. Base System Device. 2. Bluetooth by hp, and 3. Unknown device.

Downloaded and installed input devices from HP website but to no avail.
However, when finishing the 'ButtonDriver' installation, error message says "This software is not supported in this System"

How do I get the 'PEN' working?

Cheers

But, it comes with a 'PEN', meaning the hardware is there. Referred to the user manual, this piece of hardware is a standard item.

I take it, Windows is on this tablet?

Yup. That's where I downloaded those drivers.

I now suspect the 'PEN' itself is faulty, what you reckon, Speedy?
