2005-12-21 07:08:00 I've heard lots of people saying avast is way better than avg. Is this true?

Should I convert? :horrified

2005-12-21 07:10:00 Its your choice really. Overall though, using the paid version of Nod32 is better. bob_doe_nz (92)
2005-12-21 07:13:00 Just want free ones :) zahmad (8963)
2005-12-21 07:25:00 Well then take your pick. I'm using AVG, and others will say AVAST. You could try both installed at different times to assess the performance and quality of each program. bob_doe_nz (92)
2005-12-21 08:44:00 lol. I use AVG v happy. What is AVAST? lol.

2005-12-21 09:36:00 Yeah! Wheres the Toyota? bob_doe_nz (92)
2005-12-21 14:39:00 Yeah! Wheres the Toyota?I was going to say "your not from around here are you" but upon further investigation that statement would have proved to be incorrect.

Back to the "Avast better than AVG? Should I change?" thing, I say maybe and your choice. When it comes to detection they will both do a satisfactory job. Should you change, well I've never used Avast, but have used AVG which I know is easy to use and setup.

2005-12-21 19:40:00 I changed from AVG to Avast. AVG was going well for me for about 18 months till it started doing funny stuff when dowloading emails. Been using Avast now for a while & am very happy with it.
