| 414363 | 2005-12-20 22:18:00 | My Pent2 PC with XP home can't install Win because of corrupt file. Tried to install with CD in repair mode, by choosing R. After that it went into command prompt and asked for administrator password. Since I am only user, I did not put in any password when installing Win XP and don't know what to type on prompt. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance |

Also make sure your anti-virus software is up-to-date, and you've recently scanned all files. Lastly use something like AdAware to check for spyware www.download.com |
