| 415130 | 2005-12-23 00:10:00 | All you need to do is get a ethernet cable (cat5/6). Plug one end into a spare ethernet port on the router and the other into the ethernet port (NIC) on the laptop. By default the RTA300 uses DHCP, so it will automatically assign the laptop an internal IP. Once the laptop is connected up, you should be able to access the internet without any further configuration. Post back if you have any problems. :) Welcome to PressF1 as well. |

It has a little round light right beside it which will go green when you plug in a connected ethernet cable image of port on left ( . webster . edu/pcguide/images/laptop_network/ethernet_port . jpg" target="_blank">library . webster . edu) P . S . does this site also help with virus/trojan removal?Certainly does . Just make a new thread about your problem and give all the details that you know, including what operating system you have and what current antivirus program you use . |
