| 414808 | 2005-12-23 06:10:00 | Yeah, I tried all slots, and I just tried replacing the battery. Next up: check for an unlikely case short, then reflash if necessary. If that doesn't work, I have to decide between ordering a new motherboard or a new BIOS from this guy: http://www.biosman.com/ I've discovered that it will usually boot on a (very) cold boot, but once it has been running then it won't boot again for a while. I would think that this indicates heat issues, but nothing is hot, including the processor. Edit: now that I think about it, the "cold boot only" thing means that this is probably not BIOS-related. Unless someone can tell me otherwise? |

| 414809 | 2005-12-23 06:27:00 | Have u tried pull all HD out and see if that boots up ok .. like a CD or floppy disk? Done the memtest yet? You can see the screen right? All the text are coming down as expected before the boot up? |

| 414810 | 2005-12-23 21:22:00 | I've checked everything I can check, reflashed the BIOS, reseated everything, removed everything not needed for a boot, and replaced everything that is replaceable.
