I have been having trouble figuring out how to link 3 (three) computers together (all running windows xp) they are wireless dell laptop, HP desktop (wired), dell desktop (wired). the desktops are wired using rthernet cords to my cable/dsl router and the laptop is wireless. i am getting the internet on everything (the router is wireless and can be wired also) but i can't get access to the files on them from the other computer. i was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem.

The router is a:

And manually enter the ip addresses on all computers.

Dont put any on obtain an ip address automatically.
