415739 2005-12-25 21:45:00 I have downloaded the demo of Partition Magic 8 and found it is not functional.

Anywhere I can get a demo that is functional or a freeware that works.
Just need it working for a couple of hours.

Thanks.

415740 2005-12-26 03:54:00 Knoppix has QTParted. It is free. Knoppix is 700mb, but has lots of other things apart from QTParted. If you don't know, Knoppix is a bootable Linux cd. mejobloggs (264)

415742 2005-12-26 11:35:00 Thanks for those. That small 600kb one will be handy will look into it. Yup, I have looked at the big linux versions, probelm is I have dialup and 2nd my CDRW has gone buggy :D

I got a 100kb file but only works for FAT systems but its great. Works like a charm and it does not need command lines.

I found my issue, is that I didn't need to resize partitions, somehow I have a older version of North Ghost and it does not support greater file sizes than 2GB so my 4GB partition only 2GB was used up, therefore I just deleted it and made 2 smaller partitions and used spanning :) Only needed 3GB after all.

Thanks again but I will look into that 600kb file, should be handy some day :)
