415504 2005-12-24 05:00:00 I have just had to reinstall Windows due to a continual blue screen from goback. (Nortons)

Now that I have reinstalled, Windows is not allowing me access to one of the hard drives on the computer. Under Computer Management ---> Disk management it is showing as active, but for some reason I cannot apply a drive letter to it, and all thos options are greyed out when I right click. The only option available when I right click is Delete or Help.

Anyone got any clues as to what the problem may be.

OS Windows XP Home
Drive is SEagate ST3120026A

GoBack is not the best. Most people will use a backup of some sort.

Have you any hidden partitions?
At the moment I have two hard drives installed.
Three partititions on a 200Gig HD with WinXP SP2.
One 8.6Gig HD with Fedora Core 4.

If I boot Fedora I can not see WinXP Partitions. If I boot WinXP I cant see Linux partitions.

It may be a partition problem.

415507 2005-12-24 18:31:00 Single partition. Not resolution 1 either. This drive is the slave drive of the IDE1 chaing, so it never had an operating system on it. Obelix (752)
