| 415796 | 2005-12-26 02:12:00 | I'm currently on a relatives PC in Chch. They are away today to work overseas and will cancel their Xtra connection. However I imagine they can keep their email account which they want to do. Will it be POP3 enabled though? How is this arranged? I note Thomas had difficulties last year with Xtra when he maintained an email account only. My relatives have had their email address for a long time and life will be much simpler for them if they can keep it. Cheers Winston001 |

It restricts your ability to change ISPs and creates issues if you want are going overseas for a long period of time and want to disconnect. My recommendation is to get a domain name and a cheap hosting account. The benefits: more email space, cheaper, better SPAM protection, better webmail systems and you can change email and internet service providers when ever you want to. :) | maccrazy (6741) | ||

| 415801 | 2006-01-22 19:15:00 | Hi Just reading old threads..Go to the Xtra site & log into your mail....In the Xtra Inbox you can create new folders...name it....move emails to that folder & they will not get deleted after the 30 days or whatever...I had some stored for months....I have since moved them back to my inbox & downloaded to my new computer.....good luck...... | cybergran (9452) | ||
