2005-12-26 01:19:00 | Hi - My Mozilla firefox won't download pdf files. Why not? How do I fix it? I have Windows 98. Thanks | ssssss (2100) | |
2005-12-26 01:48:00 | Download or open .pdf, which one won't it do? Whether or not you have Adobe Acrobat installed you should be able to download the files. | zqwerty (97) | |
2005-12-26 02:37:00 | No - it won't download the files for some reason. On clicking on download pdf file in a web page, a new mozilla window opens, but it ia a white blank page, with 'done' in the bottom left hand corner | ssssss (2100) | |
2005-12-26 02:40:00 | Try this PDF Extension (addons.mozilla.org) | pheonix (36) | |
2005-12-26 04:58:00 | Well I haven't tried the PDF Extension yet but I've been having the same problem, same browser, same OS. I get my statements from the bank emailed to me and they're all in PDF which kind of hacks me off really I can't see the point in getting all the graphics and colours in my statements when all I really want is the bare facts. But just to let you know you are not alone ssssssss. PS they used to work on this comp.

2005-12-26 20:55:00 | I find that some PDF's will open fine within Firefox and others do not. If I get a blank page opening up instead of the file, I just right-click on that link and select "Save As" instead to download the file. Then you can view it locally with your PDF viewer. | Jen (38) | |
