415708 2005-12-25 08:38:00 I have tested some registry cleaners recently and was very surprised that this program (registry rescue) found 20 invalid registry entries that the other did not find. It did not skip one that the others then found.
Otehrs any exprience with this rather expensive program (48 NZ$) ??
The other thing it does, is defragmentation of the registry, but what do you guys think of that? Just a hype ?

Cheers

nothing new. the idea is to remove any empty space and make the registry small as possible which helps a bit speed wise. not to sure if it matters so muuch with 2k/xp and todays large ram pc 's.

415710 2005-12-25 19:35:00 Getting over-aggressive on cleaning the registry is not a good idea. There's a chance you could toast your PC. I wouldn't try *any* registry scrubber without a very good backup. kingdragonfly (309)
