| 416373 | 2005-12-29 01:43:00 | we have a toshiba satellite portable. When starting it doesn't seem to go through all the boot up stuff other comps do. It says Toshiba run and then starts windows. Pressing f8 furiously during boot up doesnt get it to go into safe mode. How can we achieve safe mode on this model please? regards, Ojos |

For Windows 98: Start, Run and type MSCONFIG General Tab Advanced Button check Enable Startup Menu. For XP: Start, Run and type MSCONFIG BOOT.INI tab Check the "/SAFEBOOT" option |
