416063 2006-01-02 04:31:00 First, I don't remember even PM'ing Metla...I think he's confused...

Second, the reason I made this forum was to hear what everyone thinks about the Pen VS AMD...for some odd reason some of you thought I was saying the Pen was better than the AMD when I was just trying to understand the difference...Read what i'm saying, think about it, THEN reply....don't act like a fool and assume I'm saying the Pen is better...

meh!

[Edit - Havion/PC_Greatness - you call others names, yet here you are trying to pretend to be a different person. Two letters - IP. Banned both your accounts. Please learn some manners - Jen (Moderator) ]

you DON'T win see we DON'T care they are only names made by an immature (better not say it)

EDIT: As they say "sticks and stone may break my bones but names will never hurt me" now, a question to ponder, how do you win?

416069 2006-01-02 07:46:00 The reality is, AMD64's and Dual cores perform more operations per clock cycle than Intel equivalents.

AMD's have the advantage at the moment and its not an opinion based on brand, its a FACT!. Anyone chooses to believe otherwise needs to start Googling for recent reviews (I can't be bothered posting links).

Its clear cut and black and white, AMD have the fastest Single core and Dual cores right now period!, they also use less power and run cooler than Intel that's another fact not open for debate (unless you want to argue the Earth is flat).

I prefer the fastest and the fastest for the money, and at the moment its all AMD, if Intel's new processors overtake AMD this year then I will be an Intel fan.
