| 416044 | 2005-12-29 18:57:00 | That kinda helps, thanks. It just doesn't make sence when for the same price you can get a Pen D Dual 3.0GHz over a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Dual Core 2.0GHz. Why not get the 3.0 dual? The reason a 2Ghz Athlon is called a 3800+ is because it is equivalent performance to an Intel 3.8Ghz CPU. So why on earth would you want a 3Ghz Intel over a 3800+ Athlon??? If you really want Intel then buy it - you have been given all the reasons and links to see that AMD outperforms Intel. |
