416228 2005-12-31 21:06:00 you can't fix noisy, fans by spraying "on them"
they must be removed and on the back of the fan you can put a drop of 3 in 1 oil onto the spindle/bearing
some of them may be covered over with a sticker or have a rubber plug that can be removed then replaced after oiling
nothing beats a new fan though

416231 2006-01-04 04:47:00 Your problem sounds very much like mine - see here (www.pressf1.co.nz). My PC has just started doing it again and is in fact in the shop as we speak being looked at. I'll let you know what happens. My (uninformed) guess is that I have a dodgy component or connection somewhere on the motherboard that is causing the problems. :badpc: Tony (4941)
