| 1395870 | 2015-03-07 01:31:00 | Bought a 3.5 to a 2.5 inch kit from Computer Lounge. After using the bottom (base) screw holes for the SSD I am left with the side holes. They do not line up exactly so I am unable to mount this onto my single 3.5" bay on my Antec case. There are also no other holes to mount this 3.5" bracket onto my 5" clip-off pull out drive bay on my Antec case. Are there other kits that mounts the bracket onto a 5" bay like a normal HDD? With the normal HDD clip off bay pull out units. They do not have any screw holes on the side. The 3.5" HDD simply screws on the base. |

| 1395871 | 2015-03-07 01:51:00 | Just used the ADATA 2.5 TO 3.5 Mounting Tray with Screws Only a couple of days ago, comes with 8 Screws, 4 for the SSD and 4 for the mounting. Theres 3 sets of holes on the side for mounting to the case. ( came with the SSD Drive), but can be brought separate. This what they look like i2.wp.com |

| 1395872 | 2015-03-07 02:01:00 | Mine came with 8 screws too. 4 for the base to mount the SSD. Another 4 for the side to mount the bracket to the case. But they don't line up. This is with the single floppy drive exterior accessible drive way on the case. The holes I can see them but they are like 15% covered up. Tried to push the bracket further down but it won't budge. Re: the normal HDD bays they do not have any side screw holes. On that clip out tray unit - there are only 4 holes on the base. No other holes anywhere. 6261 |

| 1395873 | 2015-03-07 02:18:00 | Sounds a bit like the Tray ( pictured) is not designed to have another second tray attached. Most of the 2.5" Adapters are designed to slide into a 3.5" HDD slot. | wainuitech (129) | ||
| 1395874 | 2015-03-07 02:21:00 | drill some holes on that tray and skip the conversion kit? i did get the Antec (Sonata?) case in 2009 though .. | Nomad (952) | ||
| 1395875 | 2015-03-07 02:29:00 | You don't have it upside down? the holes don't quite work if you do but can look close. I have a plastic adapter that fits 2 2.5" into 1 3.5" works fairly well and everything lines up fine. |

This Picture shows 2 slide out bays - techreport.com Picture near bottom of page. The adaptor purchased should slide into any one of those. |

| 1395877 | 2015-03-07 03:03:00 | Not upside down. There is one 3.5" bay for a floppy drive in its day or something. Not occupied now. Picture. The side holes don't quite line up with the conversion kit. It's like 15% too high or too low ... blocking the whole screw holes. It's drilled now. 6262 |

I have a plastic adapter that fits 2 2.5" into 1 3.5" works fairly well and everything lines up fine. Hmm ... there is just one 3.5" slot. On second thought if it is like the image here the holes are fully exposed. However the screws that I was given are too large. The SSD itself requires the 4 smaller screws. If I fit the larger screws without the SSD in, so I screw the screws from the SSD area it works but the Antec tray requires smaller screws. 6264 |
