1395857 2015-03-06 22:49:00 uTorrent is a massive piece of **** anyway, I believe it's ties to the MPAA are well documented. icow (15313)

1395859 2015-03-07 02:09:00 Just this week, I was wondering what this Epicscale meant when I went to the Control Panel to uninstall something. Turns out this was from uTorrent after searching the web. It won't uninstall using Windows Control Panel. I had use CCleaner to remove it. ruellesmith (17277)
1395860 2015-03-07 02:15:00 I've been using it on and off for about a year and haven't had any issues at all. In fact I recommend it.

1395861 2015-03-07 02:19:00 might have to look at using something else as there is alternatives around Lawrence (2987)
1395862 2015-03-07 02:39:00 I have it installed and up to date on 2 computers and neither has this miner. Reading up it's one of the optional extras so if anyone gets it it's time to remind them to pay attention when installing stuff.
I may look into others myself, but I have edited the advanced options and removed most of the adds etc after finding a guide online and it still run's pretty well.

Here's my settings if anyone is interested as I don't recall where I found them.

1395863 2015-03-07 02:41:00 I prefer to use the older version,I have not updated from 3.1.3 after which they started ads and other nasties. Happy try any other clients which maybe recommended.... ruup (1827)
1395864 2015-03-07 02:57:00 This thread prompted me to look for a new client. http://deluge-torrent.org/ is what I'm trying now, so far it seems like Utorrent with all the rubbish stripped out. dugimodo (138)
