This is why you dont rely on cloud services as your only data backup.
And dont rely on cloud providers assurances of security, backup and uptime.

iCloud got hacked as well the other day -- all the "Naughty Pictures" were dumped onto the internet.

And if OneDrive is hacked, meh, they'll mostly get train photos :p

1383178 2014-09-03 02:03:00 From what I have read, that was a few specific user accounts as opposed to iCloud being maliciously hacked in general.

Unless it is project related I keep all my stuff backed up to an external drive on my desktop. Anything else I use Dropbox.

1383179 2014-09-03 02:50:00 Me..nothing in the cloud. I can see its use but don"t have any reason to use it. All my photos are either on laptop, backup HDD, media HDDs or on phone. Access anytime.

You can still get screwed if your personal machine gets compromised...
