The most common reaction I get from others when I wear revealing clothing are stares. Some people will sort of roll their eyes or look disgusted; others will just stare as if I'm some kind of art exhibit at a museum. Either way, there are a lot of stares.

...
Some days, I need encouragement, like anyone else. So seeing people like my Instagram photos of my bare belly or telling me I look beautiful in a YouTube comment makes me feel good.

More importantly, it encourages me to keep pushing boundaries.

I don't understand why we should be encouraging of someone's disgusting life choice?
I encourage this person to lose weight instead of grossing us out!!

Won't someone please think of the children!!

Having said this, I think this might be a troll by Stuff; and we will eventually be told she has a legitimate health issue which led to her obesity.

But this still has me thinking, why do fat girls dress like this?
It does gross most guys out. And their [not obese] female friends don't mind because it makes they look better.

1382572 2014-08-27 03:08:00 Substitute the word "fat" for "child molester" or "rapist".

Does that make their case any more legitimate?

How much longer are we going to get this mindless crap shoved down our throats and be told the "we" are wrong?

Being a fat slob, and being proud of the fact, is a cop out :(

Would you be happy out clubbing surrounded by a bunch of sumo wrestlers in undies?

1382574 2014-08-27 03:58:00 Substitute the word "fat" for "child molester" or "rapist". Does that make their case any more legitimate? How are they even comparible? There are legitimate reasons for obesity, there is not for rape.
Would you be happy out clubbing surrounded by a bunch of sumo wrestlers in undies? If they aren't harming me or anyone else, there's no problem...

1382575 2014-08-27 04:06:00 I don't have a problem with the fact that she is (slightly) fat, but I do have a problem with her statement "I don't believe there is anything inherently wrong or bad about being fat"

Maybe not wrong, but being fat IS a bad thing and definitely contributes to worse overall health. If she knows and accepts that then that's her business. But if she is denying that being fat makes you unhealthy, she needs a reality check. Then again, it seems so do a lot of people. (www.youtube.com)

1382576 2014-08-27 04:24:00 She doesn't want to hear comments, but "seeing people like my Instagram photos of my bare belly or telling me I look beautiful in a YouTube comment makes me feel good." Renegade (16270)

Hmmm.depends how fat I guess.
I have a problem with her saying don't stare.
If you are fat and wear not much, what do you expect? It isn't a good look.

1382578 2014-08-27 04:43:00 So it's another bully the fatties session?
Time you morons grew up and got a life, IHMO.

Many obese people are victims of conditions caused by such, only newly recognised factors, as:

The life long effects due to DNA and cellular changes from a virus called ADV36.
www.microbemagazine.org
The life long effects of anti-biotic use when a child.
www.theguardian.com

Then of course there are those who are indolent and gluttonous.

It is beginning to appear that many folk may fit into one or both of the first two groups.

So there :p
