Not hard to pick from which point all on here come from. And as the man says, never the twain will meet. |

| 1382815 | 2014-09-01 04:20:00 | I guess the new chant on Press F1 is now "Labor good, National bad" Love to see the egg on your faces when National gets in again.. Life is strange, from the age of 18 on, I voted Conservative in England and was Conservative in the manner of Harold MacMillan ( en.wikipedia.org) and Enoch Powell. Then I came to NZ and found both parties to be on the extreme left of Mao, in fact the whole country was more regulated than any other outside of the eastern bloc, but anyway I thought Muldoon was a good bloke, particularly after I chatted to him at DSIR and became a card carrying member of the National Party. Then after 1984, both parties moved so far to the right, that even though I hadn't changed, I was now positively left by comparison. If Enoch and Harold Mac were around Pref would be calling them commie :clap |

For all the muck being revealed, it doesn't impinge on the basic ideological inclinations of those who have ideological inclinations. The people who vote National because John Key is such a nice man might be a bit worried, but they will simply find another nice man to vote for. There is always that nice Colin Craig, and that nice Winston Peters has such a lovely smile. Labour's biggest threat is probably the perception that the Internet-Mana Party is sitting in their corner. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the Internet Party is the Lusk-Slater-Ede team's greatest achievement. |

| 1382817 | 2014-09-01 07:28:00 | I guess the new chant on Press F1 is now "Labor good, National bad" Love to see the egg on your faces when National gets in again.. Since Labor are an Aus party and Labour are a NZ party the only egg so far is on Crusher Collins. I did note however the very nice Mr Shonkey has only asked the investigation to look into one aspect of a very dodgy lady and not all the aspects that brought about her downfall from cabinet. Does his credibility absolutely no good whatsoever. I'm what the news would call a swing voter and I definitely won't be swinging towards JK and his goons this coming election |
