If the problem is well known and widespread, yes.

If it's acknowledged to be a problem on a select few units, and other than that you like the device - why not try a third? Worst that can happen is you take it back and get your money back.

I bet they're some people out there that have had a faulty iPad replaced with a faulty iPad - would you suggest all iPad's have faults?

Or is it just because it's a Microsoft product.....;)

1383136 2014-09-07 01:45:00 If I didn't worry about the cost, I think I would go and buy the Surface Pro 3 which has a different setup and is apparently problem free.

Ken :)

Wouldn't we all! That laptop is :drool:drool

All iPads and iPhones DO have faults: the issues revolve around the fact that they are marketed by Apple and run some version of iOS

You can certainly get a replacement, but if the replacement is also faulty for similar reasons that are not rectified by the manufacturer then you would be better advised to try a different product from another manufacturer.

As to appearing to pick on Microsoft with regards to their paltry sales numbers of tablets compared to Samsung tablets and iPads.... In an open competitive market there are reasons why Microsoft is struggling to gain any level of successful public adoption. In the consumer market Microsoft only does well when they can hobble the opposition ...

Nope, we wouldn't all go for it. Advertising fails to impress some of us, and so Apple and M$ have by no means got the entire market sewn up, just as Spark hasn't got 100% of the users. (The users they have got, they REALLY get though.) ;)
