They also gave them One Tree Hill, Mount Eden, Mount Maunganui (the mountain not the township) along with thousands of acres of forestry and land accompanied by millions of dollars for dodgy Treaty Claims. The list goes on. They have also opened the backdoor for Iwi to negotiate further with Government directly, avoiding the Courts. To be fair BM, giving mt eden to the maoris is only fair since their have occupied it the most. Consetvatives are anti drugs snd alcohol. Act thinks incest between to consenting adults should be legal and polygamy is ok | plod (107) | ||

I don’t think in the history of NZ politics we’ve ever had so many Ministers stood down from their portfolios for misdemeanours. Williamson, Collins & Dunne come to mind and then we have Horan who was given the boot but is still hanging around costing us money. The odour that normally surrounds Parliament has become a stench. :groan: |

Those in the middle are waiting to see something of substance, something that really matters in all this. We learnt our Politicians may not be 100% truthful all the time: well hold the presses, who would ever have thought that :p |
