I know it's tricky one, but my point was, you can get it subscribed when you don't need it, the industry is there for profit, not your wellbeing.

1383531 2014-09-12 03:31:00 I personally have cracked it naturally, as far as I can tell. I originally heard these ideas that taking Statins didn't lower your death rate at all, just stopped you from dying of a heart attack. I started looking around for some alternative cure without much luck until I came across this BBC doco by Michael Mosely. vimeo.com
I went on the program and had great results apart from high blood pressure, docter said I needed meds to keep it under control. I had impressed him with the diet so he agreed hold off on the meds while I did a search ( don't go on Wikipedia to research BP meds, they all have some bad effects associated with them). In the end I came up with Hawthorn extract. This worked really well, and has other beneficial effects on your heart and circulatory system as well as lowering your blood pressure.
At 73 I now pass my annual health check with no problems. Now I need a cure for absent minddness !

I know, I agree.

Luck I think rather than anything rational like modern medicine. My mother died aged 35, My father died aged 64 - his early death was probably self inflicted through a 40 a day habit, whereas my mother just had no luck with her health all through her short life. My uncles, aunts and grandmothers lived well into their 80's despite WW1 service for three of the uncles, living through the depression, and eating tons of red meat and fatty butter and dripping (which I loved as a kid). Hard hard work may have been a major contributor to their long lives. None of them had access to statins or beta blockers, but they still lived to a good age (apart from my parents)..

We must talk about is averages not specifics, what you are talking about is genetics.

1383538 2014-09-12 19:57:00 The Zarathustra Ahead Party are promising new, enhanced Level VII genes for all if elected, with DNA in the colour of your choice.

(By all, they of course mean all supporters of the true faith.) Exclusions apply.
