| 1395050 | 2015-02-24 22:18:00 | Is there any simple way to copy the 'Contacts' over from one PC to another? I know, I can use the 'Export' feature to generate a .pst file and import it to the other PC but I just wish to know whether is there any other ways? Cheers |

Or email each one to the other pc Or use some sort of 3rd party tool/addon that syncs via the cloud Export to a pst is the best way, just choose only contacts on the export. Its also the simplest way, unless you only have a few Autocomplete email address store is a different story , some call that the contacts (it isnt) . Thats where you type the first letter of a adress & it pops up with recent email adresses. If you want that(autocomplete), it depends on what ver of Outlook on both PC's  |

CSV is better, think of it as a spreadsheet with names, addresses and any other info you have on the person, can be opened and read as long as you have a spreadsheet reader/program. PST is a file that needs to be open via Outlook, or a PST reader. |

| 1395057 | 2015-02-25 21:12:00 | CSV vs PST - pros and cons? If going from outlook on 1 pc to Outlook on 2nd PC... PST is by far the best & easiest option. If going from Outlook to something else, then CSV. You may need to play with it a bit (mapping the feilds) "But the CSV files that these applications produce might not contain all of the supported contact fields. For example, when Outlook exports to a CSV file, it omits data including attachments, distribution lists, contact pictures, the "file as" field, the "alias" field, and text formatting in the "notes" field. Google Contacts doesnt have a way to know what was omitted, so we suggest that you manually copy over any important information in these fields after you import your contacts." |
