1395038 2015-02-24 20:36:00 See this is Beta ver !!!.

What was the previous best ver ?, because this 36 ver is diabolical.

IE8 loaded PressF1 3 times before FF knew where it was, rofl.

Thanks,

Lurking.

1395040 2015-02-24 20:55:00 That's kinda the point of Beta's isn't it. Wait til the release version and if it's still terrible then you'll have something to comment on. Mean time did you provide feedback to FF on your experience with their Beta software? If not why even bother loading it. If you want to play with Beta software expect problems. dugimodo (138)
1395041 2015-02-24 21:16:00 Read this post and checked FF update, installed version 36 (no mention of it being beta) and it runs just fine so far. Terry Porritt (14)
1395042 2015-02-24 22:05:00 hmm, maybe I misunderstood when I read Beta ver. I just checked and this is 35.01 but the act of checking it has prompted FF to start downloading an update. dugimodo (138)

S h i t e dug, never asked to test it, it's just there; never had anything to do with a Beta software, only beta usage were products for heart pills in 2013, someone has to be a first for this improvement in health, (passed them over due to continual nosebleeds).

Yes, wifey has 35.1 on W7 and she thinks it's b l o o d y slow booting up.

1395044 2015-02-24 22:28:00 First time FF is run after a computer boot, it tends to be slower loading, thereafter it's ok. From memory, IE loaded faster than FF, though haven't used IE for yonks and yonks. Terry Porritt (14)

Yes using IE8 or Opera is far quicker, although coming back in this arvo FF seems faster.

Spoke too soon. Something wrong with download manager and downloading video files to save from websites, apparently not downloading.

Rather than troubleshoot custom settings, I restored version 35.0.1 and that was immediately ok.

I'll have another fiddle around when I feel in the mood :)

1395047 2015-02-25 03:07:00 Hmm... seem to get the same problem when I updated FF on my Win 7 machine. Again went back to 35.0.1 and all ok. Terry Porritt (14)
