| 417089 | 2006-01-01 04:48:00 | Scanning with AVG after defrag kept crashing I have narrowed down the cause down to a texture folder in "C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\My Documents\" and deleted it as every time AVG got to it it crashed as well so can't isolate it in virus vault. Is that good enough? | steelsporran (6566) | ||
| 417090 | 2006-01-01 06:09:00 | Is what good enough? DId AVG say there was a virus in that folder? Delete manually from Safe Mode if so. If its not a virus but some corrupt folder - run chkdsk. |

Check both checkboxes "Start" You'll see a warning "The disk check could not be performed because the disk utility needs exclusive access... Schedule to occur when you restart?" "Yes" |

| 417092 | 2006-01-02 03:44:00 | Can't complete chkdsk. Gets to stage 4 then shuts down "for safety". Same err code as defrag crash - BCCode : a BCP1 : 00000166 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000000 BCP4 : 804ECF8E plus DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL with defrag shut down message. Managed to AVG everything, no nasties. Looks like a windows re-install coming up. | steelsporran (6566) | ||
