| 416830 | 2005-12-31 07:06:00 | Pretty easy, really. As a precaution, make sure you have a recent system restore point! Click start/run and type in regedit and hit enter (runs program called regedit). Then just navigate your way to each entry you want to delete. Highlight it by clicking on it and press the Del key. |

This was my first time in the reg system so i needed a little extra help. Sry about the easy noob question. I tried a search at first and got a million hits. None what i needed. Thanks again, Wayne |

So long as the program is no longer being used, you select only those entries and not any entry at random its perfectly safe. What do you think all those Reg Cleaner programs do? He backed up first. The registry can end up being a bloated cluttered thing in no time. Most times Add/Remove doesn't take out all the entries. And a lot of programs don't even need the entries to run anyway. |
