| 417825 | 2006-01-03 20:54:00 | I have webcam, i can only use in window because my linux dun works with webcanm, dun understand why, but that doesnot matters, I wonder how can MS netmeeting capture webcam screen when I turn video function on. I mean I want to know video functionalities implemented. Can you offer some explanations ? Very grateful for your help. |

| 417828 | 2006-01-03 22:02:00 | Well install the drivers for it first, if it needs drivers. Otherwise it'll never go. Then depending on whether its got a mode switch or something to turn it on. Turn it on. See if Windows detects/recognises it. Then install a program like MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger to test it. Or if u have Windows XP, if it detects the cam, open My computer, and see if an icon for the camera appears here. If it does, click on it, and see if a pic of what the cam is pointing at appears. |

If the file you're talking about is an exe file, run it to install the drivers, so the cam will work, if it isnt working now. If you're talking about Linux drivers, I wouldnt have a clue. I dont use Linux. |
