| 418452 | 2006-01-05 09:45:00 | Ok I was browsing the web with firefox and then for some reason it froze....so I closed firefox and when I tried to reopen it...I get a message saying that I need to choose a user profile... I clicked on the default option and I get a pop-up stating that is already in use...I close it and try again a few times and the default profile is still in use... So the only other option is to create a new profile... I just create a new one...and I am able to launch firefox...but alll of bookmarks and history website are gone... How do I access the default profile.... Thank you |

| 418453 | 2006-01-05 10:00:00 | I've had that too. It seems to happen when it is closed but still running in the background. Close all open Firefox windows, do CTRL Shift Esc and click the Processes tab, select firefox.exe and end it. Then re-try |

| 418454 | 2006-01-05 10:05:00 | If it happens again you would "Ctrl Alt Delete" find Firefox and end task on it. Or reboot the computer. Right now I would reboot the computer then Start > Run > firefox.exe -profilemanager and delete the new profile you just created, should be fine after that. |
