i hadnt had the dreaded RPC error which auto restarts your pc no matter what you are doing (painful if you are trying to download something without a download manager) "this error was caused by Lsass.exe being unexpectedly terminated......" Lsass??? that was allowed through Zonealarm pro i think, these stupid restart errors only happen when i am online, funny that! |

Do a search and see how many copies of it there are on your system.
The lsass.exe located in the c:\windows\System32 folder is the only valid copy, it is a necessary system file (don't delete it or attempt to stop the service) any other copies you may find are related to worms and viruses and can be deleted |

yes there is only one copy in the \system32 folder, there is also a HDMP file that hogs 14mb, wat else cud cause this error? |
