| 417818 | 2006-01-04 05:58:00 | If the mobo supports dual channel memory (if its got 4 ram slots), it'll be better using 2 512mb simms (if u want 1GB), which are the same brand and speed, to make use of Dual Channel. I dont think it'll make a diff with the 256mb simm. BUT, as above if the mobo supports dual channel, get 2 identical 512mb simms. Its an ASUS board P4P800S-X, its only got 2 ram slots, |
