418869 2006-12-16 10:35:00 Right, I had this problem too (Mobo: Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe) with my onboard sound. I found out that it was that the sub/center channels were mixed up, I managed to remedy this problem with a piece of software that simply switched the output.

Mysteriously, almost a year and a half after I fixed this problem, it has come back, I was considering setting up a 3.5mm jack - RCA switch to sort it, but i'd rather use software again. I have had no luck with google, and was wondering if you guys can help ?

www.nvidia.co.uk for anyone experiencing the same problems (I'm pretty sure it only works with nVidia sound cards).
