| 418948 | 2006-01-07 10:59:00 | im not sure if i should ask this question here, or on an internation site (this is easier)... when i go to launch postal2share the pain, it comes up with the civ4 splash screen and says i dont have the civ4 disc in the drive. now on my sistem this was only slightly odd, as it was on my mates, but as i just uninstalled civ4 on the laptop its quite startling. i just hope no one is reluctant to help me due to the state of law reguarding postal2. ok, just to cover all my bases i went and launched the game executable from within its intallation directory, same problem. thanks in advance. |

These kind people (http://www.dia.govt.nz/) might help you out. :rolleyes: AS a crime its not exactly up there with bring in material Gary Glitter would enjoy or voting ACT. Also look in the registry and remove the Civ references (btw, this can be extremely dangerous). I played the postal games, no worse than GTA games.... It really $#%%$%$ me off that games are blamed for so much, I play morrowind all the time, kill lots of shop owners etc, doesn't make me grab up a machete and head out to the mall.... |

I would check to make sure civ 4's folders are all physically removed from your system and theb reinstall Postal 2. All uninstall it and forget it, cos postal is rubbish compared to what oblivion is going to be |

Apart from ripping out the copy protection and security checks and modifying the exe.... Anyhow, I tried the first one, They done well to ban it. |

I supose my main complaint is that the game had no gameplay, it was an empty shell for no reason but to have a dickhead game charecter act like a retard. Low mentality rubbish. I wouldn't compare it to the likes of GTA or any other game I have played for that single reason. I also tried Thrill Kill on the PS and Mankiller (i think thats what it was called) on the Xbox, Both games were banned, We didn't miss anything by this action. |
