2006-01-10 05:44:00 | Do you mean that this happens when you are on the internet, if so then what browser are you using and how much ram do you have? Also what operating system are you using and what is your cpu speed? | zqwerty (97) | |

2006-01-10 06:04:00 | Firefox has a well-known problem of memory leak, you could go to Tools/Clear Private Data and clean your cache every hour or so. Note you can choose what you want to clear but you must clear Cache. | zqwerty (97) | |
2006-01-10 06:12:00 | As you were. | zqwerty (97) | |
2006-01-10 06:32:00 | When your computer exhibits the problem go Ctrl+Alt+Delete to bring up Task Manager, click the Processes Tab to see what processes are running and how much ram they each are using, see how much ram Firefox.exe is using to see if this is the problem. Post back the amount to here when you have determined the amount being used after the problem starts to occur. | zqwerty (97) | |
2006-01-10 07:13:00 | well.. i've tried clearing cache but never tried private data.. so i'll try that.. and i have tried closing all processess which have high memory usage and it still lags.. when the computer starts to lag it happens when i'm not using firefox as well. Fire fox uses about 31k which is the same as when the computer is working fine
