Xtra help desk feel port 110 is somehow blocked but I've no idea how to check or fix.
(could another port be used?)
Done Malware & AV sweep. Have stripped out all unessesary programs, games etc.
Have tried with Nod32 & Zone Alarm turned off but no diff.

1357669 2006-01-09 19:28:00 Login to the xtra site and check your mail there, there may be an email with certain characters, or string of characters in the subject line that is confusing or stopping (don't ask me why, has happened once to me before) anything trying to access it. Myth (110)
1357670 2006-01-09 20:38:00 Could still be caused by ZoneAlarm blocking it even with it turned off.
Uninstall Zone Alarm to confirm it is the problem.

1357671 2006-01-09 21:08:00 Still no luck.
I logged on to Xtra, moved the next 10 emails in line to download but no diff.
I've tried uninstalling both Nod32 & Zone Alarm, rebooting and downloading without them(gulp) but still no success.

1357672 2006-01-09 21:40:00 Is it possible you XP firewall is blocking it.
Go to Control panel/Windows firewall/Advanced and set back to default settings or check all settings.
