| 420155 | 2006-01-11 17:04:00 | I have Windows XP and I have Roadrunner as my ISP. I'm using the latest edition of Mozilla Firefox and I am having problems with my proxy settings changing whenever I close the window. I had program called ZillaPopupKiller that I uninstalled from my computer, in the Connection settings under http proxy it keeps changing back to Zillapopupkiller. I uninstalled to program through add/remove programs. I have ran a virus scan, Adaware, and Spybot S&D, tried clearing my cache, temporary internet files, ect, and I can't seem to figure out how to get it to save my settings. I keep trying to change the settings back to what they should be, but every time I exit and reopen the window it changes back to the Zilla thing. I have Firefox set as my default browser, and I have tried changing the settings in both IE and Netscape with the same results. I keep getting a message that says "unable to find the proxy server". Does anyone have any suggestions for this? | amswope1 (9595) | ||
