Spybot has recently taken to showing up in the taskbar, with apparently nothing behind it. As I write this, it is there, but if I click on it nothing happens, and if I right-click and choose "close", nothing happens either. It all appears to be working OK apart from that.
Has anyone else experienced this - and does anyone know what to do about it? |

It is not the "tea-timer" part of Spybot that you are seeing in the systray? I believe it does realtime monitoring of the system. Not sure if it is supposed to have right-click options associated with it. Someone with this program might be able to clarify that. :) |

Tea Timer is in the system tray - I am talking about the taskbar itself, where there is what looks like a minimized Spybot that exhibits the behaviour I described. |

With Spybot open, cl on Mode, are you in advanced mode? if so is there anything associated with taskbar? |
