419809 2006-01-10 06:07:00 Have you checked to make sure the cable isn't the problem? e.g the wires havent come loose in the RJ45 plug? Pete O'Neil (6584)

419811 2006-01-10 08:14:00 i blame my cpu/ram/mobo
i think it was caused when i changed the cas timings on my ram from 3.0 to 2.5
changing it back to 3.0 fixed it, and changing it to 2.0 fixed it.
although now my ram is onyl runnign at 166mhz instead of 200mhz, then again 166 is my fsb so its not like im missing out on anythign, or am i?

419812 2006-01-10 09:38:00 try setting your ram to auto detect (eg standard)
if it still happens try another lan cable, then lan card

419813 2006-01-10 11:42:00 I guess changing your ram latency and also upping your ram to 200mhz was probably also speeding up the PCI bus which could cause the NIC to go mad Agent_24 (57)
419814 2006-01-10 23:06:00 my ram usualy runs at 200mhz, but when i changed the timings for some reason it just went down to the fsb, but aslong as it work now, im happy =D Mirddes (10)
