420263 2006-01-12 10:14:00 Bugger! If you have Litestep, for some reason it will move all of a sudden. :waughh: What about those with Konfabulator can you give it a go?

I cant be bothered fixing more than I have to.

Bob, would it be possible to make it alow the comp on for a certain time each day then shutdown, or what you select?

And also have it so it sits in the sys tray?

I can probably do the system tray bit, but you need to explain the first one a bit more as I dont quite get what you mean.

420269 2006-01-14 08:32:00 Oki day, I've added a minimise to system tray option. So people, I need you to try the minimise bit on other OS's please. bob_doe_nz (92)
420270 2006-01-14 20:49:00 you need to explain the first one a bit more as I dont quite get what you mean. What I mean is when you first turn the comp on it starts timing, and only alows the comp on for a certain amount of time a day then it shuts down, say you turn the comp on at 7.00am and alow it on for 5 hours, it will then turn its self off at 12.00 pm, kind of like a restricter, does that make any sense? The_End_Of_Reality (334)
420271 2006-01-14 23:29:00 The only way I could do that is to have it permanently set up to turn off after 5 hours in this example. That what you want?

Or is it a specific hour e.g 13:00 you wanted?

I can modify it to that when it starts up the time is already set to say 13:00.
All you'd need to do then is click start. That what you want?

If you find that me next few posts on PF1 are gibberish, its cos I've had a meltdown in my brain :waughh:

Edit:
Come to think of it, I could make it so that it creates a text file in the main windows directory, inside it contains the last used time. From there you would still have to click start, but that solves the problem.

The other option is to use the registry, which I do not want to do.

420272 2006-01-15 01:09:00 Oh, that is starting to sound more complicated than I thought, it is hard to explain, the best I can do is above.

Don't worrie about it :)
