420436 2006-01-12 08:22:00 I have a very strange problem with my computer at the moment... I was playing Half-Life 2 when the computer locked up... so i reset to be fronted with a screen full of random text. The computer still half operates as it goes through all the hard drive detection etc then loads the first stage of WindowsXP. After the DOS process dissaperes so does all the random text but there is still lines down the screen when windows is loading. Once the first boot screen is finished a black screen appears and the pc does nothing. Is it the CPU, GPU or the MB?

System:
GA-K8N Ultra-9 Motherboard, GV-NX66T128VP Graphics, 3500+ Venice Cpu, 1gig Ram...

What is it and is it fixable!!!?

Well you could take it into a shop and get them to diagnose it...
