| 420844 | 2006-01-16 03:56:00 | ok, this might be a little out of teh scope of my orignal question but im now having problems while installing vista. i started installing from within windows then it crashed, and longhorn is laoding ect, failed, i then booted to windows XP, then tried installing from within XP, then it gave me a [8007045D] error, something to do with coping a file to the local machine, then it undoes everythign it did while installing it (this is near teh end of te install), so i then reboot, and it actually boots to the CD for once =D, i then get it to format the partition it just tried installing vista to in anticipation of it actually working, and it fails, same error. this is bad, as i now have no OS to go back to. please help, this is urgently bad. ive now attempted to install vista a total of 4 times. |
