Guys/Gals,

On my Win 98SE box, when I run Norton Ghost, I put this on the floppy so

that after the job is done my computer will automatically boot to my

desktop:

set comspec=c:\command . com
c:
cd\
set winbootdir=c:\windows
c:\windows\win . com

I'm now working on a buds WinXP FAT32 Dell Laptop and using that on his

Ghost floppy won't work . Can anybody suggest anything to get HIS box to

auto boot to desktop like mine does?

Thanks in advance .

421142 2006-01-15 02:49:00 XP doesnt use DOS like 98. BUT does have it within XP. BUT its limited.

Altho XP does have command and win.com but they're in the C:/windows/system32 folder.
