| 420845 | 2006-01-14 01:42:00 | Reinstalled OS (XP Pro SP2) for this machine but could not get the audio working. Downloaded the driver from HP site and while installation halted with error saying that the pc requires Microsoft Universal Architecture High Definition Audio Bus driver. Where can I get this driver. Cheers |

That's the site I downloaded the audio driver which it requires MS Universal Arch High Definition audio bus driver to be installed but not available in HP site. Anyway, I made a wild search and found a file from Gigabyte site, downloaded and installed successfully. It's now work fine. Why HP site hasn't got it? |

| 420848 | 2006-01-14 04:48:00 | Why HP site hasn't got it? Pass. Wouldnt have a clue. Must be a specifc driver, for whatever the audio chip is on that motherboard. Thats why I'll never buy an Acer/Compaq/HP system. They expect you to search for the software yourself. |
