421395 2006-01-15 22:10:00 I have the sub for my speaker system, its only 2.1 but high quality, so I turn it up load and it sounds fine.

The thing is, I have it sitting under my desk, about 20cm from the side of my computer, should I be worrying about the vibrations cause by the low frequencies damaging my computer/harddrive?

421396 2006-01-15 22:21:00 I also have a sub (4.1) and it sits under my desk as well (Makes good foot rest), it also sits about half a metre from the PC. I have been using it now for over 2 years, and I have had NO PROBLEMS at all with the PC. Dragonslayer (512)

421399 2006-01-15 22:56:00 I've got my sub under my computer desk too, and although I've had a lot of hard drives die on me, I don't think that is the reason. Hard drives are supposed to be able to take a couple of Gs while operating, and a lot more when not operating.

I've got a shelf under my keyboard tray, so I can't use my sub as a foot rest :(
